"Intimate Exchanges"

by Alan Ayckbourn

Thursday 9th, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th April,

at 7.30 in Guilsfield.

First Produced in 1982 Sir Alan Ayckbourn's "Intimate Exchanges" is a series of very funny and poignant plays which explore how the small choices we make in our lives can have a huge impact on our future.

In a quiet country village we engage with local characters whose passions run deep and emotions spiral hilariously out of control .....

Will the headmaster's wife have an affair with the gardener? Will the headmaster fall for the daily help? And who will take old Joe's poetic advice? ......

"There are scores of side splittingly funny lines derived from Mr Ayckbourn's acute observation of the middle classes at bay, floundering under the pressures of trying to lead, or to be seen to be leading respectable lives. The comedy is wry, sardonic and bitter." -The London Spectator
