"Say Something Happened" By Alan Bennett

A modern black comedy "Eager but green Jane is dispatched by the Council to register elderly people in the area. Mam and Dad are elderly and therefore must be in need of registering - but the able-bodied street wise couple have no intention of being registered. Increasingly desperate, June resorts to Mr Farquharson's notes on Conduct of Interviews while no nonsense Man sorts her out!"

Co-Produced by John Parkinson and Pam Edwards with Sue Jones as Mam, Dai Roberts as Dad and Annie Chave as June Potter the Council Social Worker.

Say Something Happened enjoyed great success wining the Montgomeryshire Drama Festival and going on to be well received at the National One Act Drama Finals in Cwmbran. A great achievement for John Parkinson as a first time director and Dai Roberts wining Best Individual Performance at the regional final.

"The Proposal" By Anton Chekov

Don't let the Chekov put you off this is funny, clever and fast paced. "A one act farce by Anton Chekov, written in 1888-1889 and first performed in 1890. It is a fast paced play of dialogue based action and situational humour" A middle aged hypochondriac Landowner seeks the hand in marriage of the grown up daughter of an elderly Landowner. It quickly transpires that these are all very strong and determined characters and deep discontent lies beneath the surface of manners, neighbourliness and good manners.

Produced by David Jones with Malcolm Graham as Stepan Stepanovich Tchubkov (Landowner), Paul Preece as Ivan Vassileyavich Lomov (Hypochondriac Neighbour) and Sarah May Jones as Natalya Stepanova Tchubkov ( Daughter of Tchubkov)
